For the fourth year running Gearhouse Broadcast were awarded the contract to supply radio microphone equipment for the judges, hosts and contestants for the ITV live studio show of Britain’s Got Talent. The show regularly attracts an average viewing audience of over 10 million.

The outside broadcast (OB) vans will be used in conjunction with modular and mobile LED screens at major sporting, music and corporate events, including coverage of all international and domestic cricket matches. The 2010 season will see over 100 televised matches including the international series against Bangladesh, Australia and Pakistan.

Building on the success of “Vancouver live”, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and its Member broadcasters will deliver the 2010 FIFA World Cup live online through its sports video portal www.eurovisionsports.tv/fifaworldcup.

Regional partners will showcase three new Broadcast Pix™ products at BroadcastAsia 2010 at the Singapore Expo in Singapore, 15-18 June. MOG Technologies has announced that Sistemas de Video Comunicación S.A. (SVC) has become its partner for Argentina. Under this partnership agreement, SVC will be the official representative for the sales and support of the mxfSPEEDRAIL S1000 and F1000 product line in the Argentinean market.

 Belgium based and international TV broadcast and OB truck provider Alfacam equipped five HD OB trucks that will be used for the FIFA Football World Cup 2010 with a comprehensive MediorNet installation from Riedel Communications. MediorNet is a fiber based real-time signal distribution and routing solution for HD/SD video, audio, intercom and data that also includes software based processing features.

It was the party of the year: On May 29, NDR and the city of Hamburg invited the public to view the Eurovision Song Contest final on a live screen on the Reeperbahn. The visitors enjoyed a live broadcast from Oslo on a huge screen as well as a stage program with Xavier Naidoo and Nena as the top acts. The broadcast was taken over by NDR using audio technology from the SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP.

Sachtler, a brand of the Vitec Group, presents the further stage of the camera stabilizer system, the new artemis Cine HD Pro for professional film productions and digital cinematography, at the Cine Gear Expo in Hollywood.
