In this newly created role, DeHart will focus all of Grass Valley’s strategic partnerships on bringing together high-performance solutions from recognized broadcast technology vendors into a unified cloud-native ecosystem.

The truck’s new System T comprises a 48-fader S500m compact and lightweight mobile modular control surface, twin redundant Tempest T80 engines, supporting up to 800 signal paths, and a 16-fader Remote Tile.

NEP Group, the leading technical production partner for premier content producers of live sports and entertainment, announced that its New Zealand division has completed the purchase of mobile unit assets from Sky TV New Zealand. The agreement to purchase assets from Sky’s OSB subsidiary was previously announced in August 2020, followed by a months-long regulatory review. The deal was approved by the Overseas Investment Office last September and the New Zealand Commerce Commission this February.

Chinese TV broadcaster Jiangsu TV, headquartered in Nanjing, has put the station’s first true-IP-based vehicle on the road – a new 4K TV OB truck that debuted in October 2020. A unit this cutting-edge demands advanced technology in all areas. That’s why Jiangsu TV chose IP audio infrastructure from Lawo, utilizing an mc²56 audio production console of the newest generation (MKIII) and a ruby broadcast mixer. This OB project was completed in only seven months by system integrator New Digital Technology (NDT), Lawo’s installation partner in China.
