The Knight of Illumination (KOI) executive committee has come to the decision to postpone the 13th annual awards ceremony and gala dinner due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis and the enormous implications it is having on the entertainment industry.

German Tonmeistertagung will take place at the CCL Convention Center at Leipzig between 25th and 28th of November 2010. The congress program of the internationally renowned convention includes a large number of papers, workshops, and roundtables covering new and practical aspects of professional audio. This year, there is also a particular focus on hands-on sessions. Altogether, there will be more than 180 lectures from 16 different subject areas held by a large number of experts from production companies and the audio industry. 135 companies are exhibiting in Leipzig their lates innovations.

Over the summer, 30 Seconds to Mars headed out on an ambitious festival run across Europe, covering 16 countries with audiences of over 40,000 people as well as 2 shows on a private Croatian Island for a “Mars Island” experience. The Rolling Stones have wrapped the U.S. leg of their “50 & Counting” world tour with grandMA2 consoles along for the still-wild ride. The Stones sell-out 50th anniversary tour is their first in six years. They opened the U.S. leg in LA and concluded their 18 dates in Washington, D.C. The legendary band performed on a stage set featuring a giant set of psychedelic lips and a tongue-shaped walkway that riffed on their iconic logo. Patrick Woodroffe was the lighting designer and Ethan Weber the co-lighting director.

Described as “three-days of fast beats, loud drops, beautiful people, and so many lights” by Billboard, many of those luminaires used on Ultra Music Festival again bore the Elation Professional logo with well over 500 Elation products in action on several stages at Miami’s biggest EDM party of the year.

Australian pop-punk band, 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) made their name as somewhat of a YouTube sensation, but rose to international stardom after touring with UK mega-boy band, One Direction, during their 2012 Take Me Home tour. 5SOS have since released three studio albums, headlining three world tours in the process. Their current Meet You There tour supports their 2017 hit record, Youngblood, and at stage left position, Pavan Grewall is working from his trusted DiGiCo SD10 console.

With a pre-pandemic capacity of 9,595, Red Rocks scaled down the tickets to a maximum of 175, allowing fans to safely attend Tiësto, Fitz and The Tantrums, and Lotus in person while abiding by socially distant guidelines.
