A large team of personnel from ACS have recently returned from a successful Winter Asian Games where they were responsible for delivering one of the largest and diverse projects to date for the company. The 7th Asian Winter Games was held in Kazakhstan and ACS was chosen by host broadcaster International Games Broadcasting Services (IGBS) to exclusively provide specialist camera facilities for all venues in and around the city of Almaty.

Working with host broadcaster NRK and OB Team, the ACS Tethered Blimp has been flying above the city of Oslo providing aerial coverage of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Fitted with a HD Cineflex V14 stabilised mount the blimp is currently operating in temperatures of around -20°C whilst achieving dramatic shots of the Championships.

Afyonkarahisar,hosted world motocross championship which is one of the ten most popular branches of the world.   The pitch installed on a 250 m2 area and nominated as “World’s Best Motocross Pitch” hosted world famous motocross competitors and teams. The teams and FIM-Youth Stream team was hosted in Afyonkarahisar between 28 August - 3 September with 50 trucks of equipment.

The Istanbul Marathon is the only course in the world where the marathon includes two continents, Asia and Europe, in one race. The marathon starts on the Asian side of the city, shortly before the First Bosphorus Bridge, crosses the bridge giving an outstanding view of the Bosphorus and Istanbul, passes many historic sites including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and ends in the İnönü Stadium in the European part. In all, the race crosses three bridges, one over the Bosporus and two over the Golden Horn.

Besides Turkey, 240 participants from countries such as  Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Romania Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Youth and Sports Management and Turkish Rowing Federation co-operation competed in the races organized between 8- 10 September.
