TVN GROUP acquires TV Plus

The Hanover-based production company TV Plus successfully produces documentaries, reports, and entertainment formats. For more than 28 years, this has included the successful NDR program “BINGO! – Die Umweltlotterie” (BINGO! – The Environmental Lottery) in cooperation with Toto-Lotto Niedersachsen GmbH.
With the takeover of TV Plus, TVN will be responsible for the complete implementation of the program in the TVN studio in Hanover. Thomas Schäffer will remain in charge of management and will continue to produce the popular Sunday show together with the existing team.

With this acquisition, TVN GROUP is consolidating its position as a comprehensive production and technology service provider and expanding its portfolio in the area of television formats and live productions. TV Plus will remain an independent unit within TVN GROUP.

TV Plus GmbH will now be managed by two co-CEOs.
Managing Director Thomas Schäffer will head up TV Plus's proven editorial and production teams in future together with Jan Weber-Verlinden, long-standing production manager and authorized signatory at TVN. Schäffer adds: “I am looking forward to working with Jan Weber-Verlinden and am confident that, with him on board, we will be able to successfully integrate with the TVN Group and expand our projects.”
