XR Stage Selects ROE Visual for ICVFX Studio Another ROE Visual LED Volume for XR Stage's New ICVFX Studio
The new purposed-built stage, located at Line 204 studios, a brand new 5-acre multi-stage facility in Pacoima, Los Angeles, is a custom Live-Action stage with LED Volumes to accommodate virtual production projects. The LED volume consists of 1020 Black Pearl BP2 LED panels placed at a 270-degree curve. Compared to XR stage's other location, this new studio adds 85 feet in width and 12 feet in height, the location boasts of the most advanced LED volume on the market.

Before I came to work at Imagine Communications, I was in live production and operations. I have pulled cables across the athletic fields of universities, and I have run master control for internationally viewed broadcasts. If I had to summarize my decade of experience in live broadcasting, I would say that the key requirement was the ability to make snap decisions while working in a constant pressure cooker. Of course, staying cool-headed isn’t enough to save a broadcast if you don’t have the right tech: flexibility to get the shots you need, reliability to stay on air, and agility to instantly get around a problem should one occur.
