Solid State Logic is pleased to announce the installation of a 24+8-fader C100 HDS console with two 128 DSP Blackrock Processor Units at the TRT Sevgi studio, located in TRT’s main production facility in Ankara.

Synapse, AXON’s modular interface and signal processing equipment, is enhanced with 3D functionality. The G3D100 is a 3Gb/s, HD and SD stereoscopic production and/or transmission tool. The unit is designed for situations where stereoscopic production with flip or mirror, monitoring in anaglyph, 3D transmission of stereoscopic into side by side, or side by side to anaglyph is required. It can be fed with a stereoscopic image (and a backup source). These sources are processed internally to provide multiple outputs.

The number of people who have entered the online register of interest for tickets for the London 2012 Olympics has passed one million. The BBC reports that online registration opened in March, for tickets which will go on sale in Spring 2011. The prices have not yet been announced.

HaiVision Network Video today announced its VFiControl technology, an iPhone®/iPad™ application that dramatically simplifies the recording of live events in real time. VFiControl enables users to control the Furnace's recording process, apply real-time metadata (HotMarks™) on the fly, and review video recording directly on the mobile device. VFiControl is ideal for controlling the recording, review, and publishing processes of medical procedures, medical skills and other training simulations, lectures, military exercises, and sporting events. With VFiControl, users can instantly review the recording directly on their mobile device prior to publishing it directly to the Furnace IP video system.

In the world of studio microphones, the numbers “47”, “67” and “87” have associations that inspire enthusiasm among professionals in the field. It is of course no coincidence that the name of the new TLM 67* contains the number “67”. In many respects, the TLM 67 is based on the “workhorse” of the 1960s, the legendary U 67. Like the U 67, the TLM 67 incorporates the K 67 capsule. In addition, the special new circuit design closely reproduces the sound characteristics of the classic U 67, without the use of tubes. Similar Neumann circuit technology has already proved very successful in the TLM 49.
