When the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series visited Wales for the UK leg of their global cliff diving championship, XL Events was on hand to ensure all the action was captured for the crowds of excited spectators.

For the 6th year of BBC Worldwide’s CBeebies on Tour, XL Events joined in the fun once again, supplying LED, camera system, playback and custom LED set elements.

When BBC One’s ‘The One Show’ was chosen to launch the BBC One Christmas line-up, they commissioned arts and technology collective seeper to produce a large scale projection on to the front of the BBC.

XL Video renewed its highly productive long term working relationship with Massive Attack, supplying LED screens and d3 media servers for the band’s recent festival tour which featured a video concept co-designed by UVA and Icarus Wilson-Wright in conjunction with the band’s 3D (Robert Del Naja).

Cool music and modern art combined at New York’s iconic Guggenheim Museum for a special set by electronic music pioneer Richie Hawtin, who swapped his more usual club backdrop to play as Plastikman alongside his brother Matthew, as part of a high profile fundraiser hosted by the Guggenheim’s Young Collectors Council.

XL Video renewed its long-term touring relationship with multi-award winning Canadian singer / songwriter, musician, activist and philanthropist, Bryan Adams, who celebrates the remarkable 30th anniversary of his seminal “Reckless” album, one of a string of ground-breaking projects that has made him the bestselling Canadian rock artist of all time.

XL Video is supplying a high powered projection system, Pandora’s Box mapping and media server control, cameras and PPU to the current #willpower tour by will.i.am, which originated in the US and is currently in Europe.

XL Video renewed its long and productive working relationship with Robbie Williams, supplying a custom video solution and crew to his current and massively popular ‘Swings Both Ways’ tour.

Lighting and visuals designer Dan Robinson has just finished his third tour with talented UK singer and musician John Newman, which ramped up production values with the help of XL Video who supplied an LED screen / mini-cam and control package plus crew.

XL Video is supplying LED screens, LED animation cloth and Catalyst media server control to the current David Ian Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group UK and Ireland touring version of the hit ‘Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical’.

XL Video supplied wide-screen projection including some of its new Panasonic 20K projectors, Catalyst control, a 4 camera / PPU package and crew for the very successful Wet Wet Wet UK arena tour in December – their first full tour since 2007.
