On March 19^th, the Chief Election Forum was held in Hong Kong. Graphic design and animation studio DreamWall together with virtual studio company Zero Density today announced that they had joined forces to help France Télévisions deliver live coverage of the first and second round of the French presidential election on April 23 and May 7. Atomic Imaging used a workflow built around Blackmagic Design products, with ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Studio 4K and ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast Panel at the heart of the production.

One of the largest news channels in the Arab region, Al Arabiya, part of the Middle East Broadcast Channel group, wanted to cover the U.S. election in a way that reflected the impact the election has on the Arab world. They also wanted to be able to explain the complexity of the election in a very clear and memorable way for their viewers. To achieve this, Al Arabiya partnered with Vizrt and SpiderCam to create the world’s largest augmented reality (AR) set used in a live news production.

On November 4th, Global Campus Network, a collaborative and interactive international student media network, held a live show giving an international student perspective of the potential outcome of the U.S election. For the show, a Quicklink TX Quad allowed London Southbank University to co-host the discussion alongside Ryerson University via Skype, while allowing students in eight countries around the world to join the collaborative video discussion.
