On November 4th, Global Campus Network, a collaborative and interactive international student media network, held a live show giving an international student perspective of the potential outcome of the U.S election. For the show, a Quicklink TX Quad allowed London Southbank University to co-host the discussion alongside Ryerson University via Skype, while allowing students in eight countries around the world to join the collaborative video discussion.

Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas, uses television, cable, online and OTT broadcasts of worship programming to reach global audiences. The scope of Green Acres’ broadcast team includes 11 fulltime and one part-time staff member across video, audio and lighting, in addition to dozens of faithful volunteers to deliver high fidelity video to the global audience. Director of Video Engineering and IMAG Operations, Casey Hawkins, a 30-year broadcast industry veteran, recently assisted with an overhaul of Green Acres’ broadcast infrastructure, which upgraded all Worship Center television and cable channel production from SD to HD.

The 2016 G20 Summit, which ended on September 5, 2016 in Hangzhou, was one of the most important international conferences organized by China in recent years. The 20 most influential world leaders gather at the Summit to discuss topics of global warming, international trade, economic boosting and the like. The newly constructed Expo Center, which provides 850,000 square meters of space, sits in the Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou City.
HDwireless at election TV-show for Bayerischer Rundfunk
ARD and BR reported on October 14 from the Bavarian state parliament in Munich from the state election in 2018. During the broadcast from the election studio on site, there were also several wireless camera transmissions from the state parliament. The company HDwireless supported the “Bayerischer Rundfunk” in this extensive transmission as a service provider for wireless cameras and supplier of video and data transmission technology.
