Caton Technology, a pioneer in next-generation IP network transport solutions, has formed a partnership with Osprey Video to provide an integrated encoder and decoder which connects direct to IP circuits using Caton Transport Protocols (CTP). The integration was initially developed in response to a user request around a large worldwide sporting event. 

The combined solution will be demonstrated on the Osprey booth (W1931) at NAB 2023 (Las Vegas Convention Center, 16 – 19 April).

​The partnership involves integrating CTP into the Osprey Talon 4K encoder and decoder. These are compact, cost-effective hardware devices providing high quality conversion from linear feeds into IP, at extremely low latency.
