Merlin worked its magic on the Stagelight team at Lucerne’s Light and Sound show in October 2014, where they immediately placed an order for four of the 2500W HMI touring giants from Robert Juliat’s Swiss supplier, Electric Claudio Merlo.

TV2 Denmark Pushes the Boundaries of Live News Coverage With AVIWEST DMNG System
AVIWEST, a global provider of video contribution systems, today announced that TV2 Denmark, a publicly owned television station based in Odense, used the company's digital mobile newsgathering solution for the delivery of live broadcast transmissions during the recent general election coverage. AVIWEST's DMNG PRO180-RA video uplink system, with a new IP Bridge function, was utilized by the broadcaster as part of a mobile live production studio hosted inside a Tesla P85D electric car for the station's news program "The Challenge," where two politicians debate on a current political issue while driving. AVIWEST's solution allowed the equipment in the car to be remotely controlled from the station's news production control room, streamlining operations while enabling TV2 Denmark to deliver a high-quality live broadcast.

South Korean HARMAN Pro distributor Techdata and audio rental company Total Korea recently provided the sound reinforcement systems at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2015 Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea. To cater to the sheer volume of people attending this event, Total Korea opted for HARMAN’s JBL VTX line arrays and I-Tech HD amplifiers, and enlisted technical support from Techdata.
Projects concluded by Studiotech in 2014 and 2015
Studiotech began in Brussels (serving Belgium and Luxembourg) in 1990, then Budapest, Hungary (1992), Warsaw, Poland (1995), Algiers, Algeria (2000) and Rabat, Morocco (2011). In a relatively short time, Studiotech in Belgium, Hungary and Poland have become recognised as leading players in the field of audiovisual engineering across Europe. Indications are that Studiotech Maghreb and Studiotech Maroc will follow a similar path in North Africa. The most recent additions to the Group are Sydney (Australia), Paris (France) and Niamey (Niger).
