The Colombian broadcaster RCN decided to implement a managed system of contents contribution between its branches and headquarters in Bogotá. The technical managers were satisfied with VSNIPTRANSFER due to its transparent integration with their current news and content production systems, which creates a simple and automatic workflow that accelerates the availability of materials and avoids all performance errors.

VSN is introducing VSNCrea, an HTML5 and cloud-based version of its previous software called VSNCreaTV, at IBC 2018 in Amsterdam (booth 7.B19). Visitors will be able to see a first version  of the new VSN software for TV, radio and second-screen traffic and scheduling throughout the event and discover how it enables the management of a company’s content production catalog, either owned or acquired from third parties, as well as its advertising, production workflows, programming and broadcast planning — all from a unique user interface.
 

VSN is coordinating the CulturaLive project, which is being developed together with other participants, to provide an adequate solution to the audiovisual sector for the exploitationand exchange of local live events with broadcast quality.

VSN is bringing an even more powerful version of its Media Asset Management (MAM) software, VSNExplorer MAM, to NAB Show 2018 (booth SL 8006) in Las Vegas, NV. VSNExplorer MAM now incorporates the 100% web-based editing tool Wedit with brand-new functionalities such as voiceover capability. Wedit’s features are also fully available in the cloud to ensure maximum flexibility for users.
 

Last April, VSN signed a commercial agreement with the Bolivian company SEST (Systems, Equipment and Technology Solutions) to distribute its automation and digitization solutions for TV channels in this Latin American country. With the broadcast sector in Bolivia currently making the digital technology transition, both companies hope to undertake a commercial adventure together to cater for the needs of the different Bolivian TV channels.

At NAB 2017, innovation and media solutions provider VSN is launching WEDIT, a highly functional web-based editing tool integrated within VSN Explorer, its media and business process management platform. Developed in HTML5, this quick and easy tool allows journalists and editors to edit videos and prepare them for broadcast from a single and unique interface, without having to switch to another system.

Pioneering the TAPELESS 2.0 concept, VSN will be presenting important new features for its broadcast software solutions for tapeless digital environments at the forthcoming IBC Show. Located in booth N7G33, the company will exhibit new versions of its products covering News Production, MCR Automation and Broadcast Management areas.

The 'Live' version of vsnIPTransfer, the UMP transfer accelerator and the virtual set vsnfreemove will be shown for the first time. Also, the Spider project shows the first draft of the new workflow architecture developed by the Spanish company.

VSN will show its newest products and features at NAB 2014. The main highlights are VSNEXPLORER PAM, web-based module designed for intelligent media management in production environments; VSNLIVECOM, studio automation for news and sports, and the latest version of its Cloud MAM-BPM.

During the Football World Cup 2010, vsnIPTransfer experienced its highest peak of activity to date concerning the transfer of contents related to a sports event. From the very beginning of the competition daily transfers over the Internet were registered, mainly related to special moments lived during the games, interviews, summaries, press conferences, etc.

Since last August 29, sports have a new window on the Spanish DTT with Marca TV. The FIBA World Championship opening ceremony was the starting signal for this new channel, which showed all the games on widescreen format, for free on open TV, offering daily full 24 hour coverage of the tournament.
