Panasonic Professional Camera Solutions announced today that it has formed a partnership with WTS Broadcast, a major supplier of broadcast solutions, to resell Panasonic professional broadcast equipment. Through the partnership WTS will leverage its expertise in the international market place to broaden Panasonic presence to a number of key vertical markets including broadcast systems integration and live events.

Broadcast systems integrator and equipment supplier WTS has delivered Video Europe’s latest outside broadcast vehicle – OB5, an eight-camera rigid HD truck equipped with Sony HDC-2500 camera channels and two eight-channel EVS XT3 replay systems.

Global technology solutions provider WTS Group has today announced plans to open a new office in Lagos, Nigeria, under the company’s systems integration brand, C2S.  C2S Nigeria will introduce WTS’s full range of technology services and solutions to the region: Equipment supply and hire, training, technical support and product advice as well as systems integration solutions and financing.

The change in name would reinforce WTS’ reputation in the market place by bringing to the fore the group’s wide range of expertise in equipment supply and systems integration, said Ben Murphy, Sales Director for WTS Group.

WTS Group has today announced that their portable flight-case production suite, Studio in a Box, will be used by international news agency TIMA for coverage of the 2012 Olympic Games.

WTS, the global systems integrator and broadcast equipment supplier, is close to completing two new HD OB trucks for SuperSport Africa, together with two support vehicles. The OB trucks are equipped with Snell Sirius 830 multi-format routers, IQ Modular infrastructure and Snell control. One OB truck and support vehicle will be based in Nigeria (OB2), the second in Zambia (OB6). The vehicles are the sixth and seventh HD OB trucks built by WTS for SuperSport, all of which have incorporated Snell routing, infrastructure and control.

WTS Broadcast has supplied independent broadcaster IQRA TV with the TVUPack, a 3G/4G wireless mobile uplink solution from TVU Networks. The broadcaster purchased the two TVUPack transmitters to broadcast live on-site coverage of the John O’Groats to Lands End bike-ride, UK-wide cycling action which was broadcast throughout the UK and Europe on IQRA TV’s Sky channel and Internet stream.

Once again, wTVision, specialized in real-time broadcast graphics and playout automation, with American headquarters in Miami, will be present at Nabshow, booth SL 7428. The company will highlight three different products: Channel Maker, Studio CG and SportStats CG.

wTVision embraces the UK market making its first appearance in the Broadcast Video Expo (BVE). In the stand N30 (hall 19), visitors will find wTVision’s range of real-time graphics solutions and playout automation systems.

wTVision will showcase at IBC 2012 its Real-Time Broadcast Graphics and Playout Automation solutions, including the new product Football Stats CG Light - Single Operator Edition, ChannelMaker-in-a-box and the new interface of the Character Generator, Studio CG, on the company’s booth 3.C67.

wTVision will have a booth in the 2011 edition of Broadcast&Cable, between the 23rd and 25th of August, in São Paulo, Brazil, at Stand A11.

Spanish broadcasters voted once again in wTVision’s software for the electoral night. wTVision worked together with 4 TV channels, Canal Sur, Aragon TV, Antena 3 and 8TV, during the spanish regional and municipal elections that occurred in May 24. With these four projects, wTVision reached 100 election projects since its beginning.

wTVision will be present, once again, in IBC with its Real-time Broadcast Graphics solutions and playout automation systems on the company’s booth (3.C61). The exhibit focus will be the iPad integration as a Human Interaction Technology and User Interface (HITUI) to remotely control broadcast graphics, a 3D stereoscopic showreel and sports turn-key products such as football, surf and motorsports.

wTVision will be presenting its portfolio of real-time graphics and playout automation solutions during the 2015 edition of CABSAT, held from March 10th to 12th, in Dubai World Trade Center (Dubai).
