American singer Halsey kicked off her Manic World Tour 2020 in Madrid in February supporting her just released studio album, also called Manic. Lighting designer Thomas Gerdon has been working on Nature One for over 15 years and has designed the lighting for the festival’s main Open Air Floor every year since its introduction in 2011. The designer stays on the cusp of innovation and after incorporating IP65-rated Proteus Hybrid luminaires in his notable 2018 pyramid truss and stage design, turned to more Proteus line fixtures for the 2019 festival.

Alabama’s southern Gulf Coast was the scene of the Hangout Music Festival held May 18-20, where artists such as The Chainsmokers, Zedd, Halsy, ODESZA, Pussy Riot and others performed beneath a Bandit Lites-supplied lighting package that included all-weather Elation IP65-rated lighting.

Building upon the buzz of Kiyoko's recent hit album release, Expectations, upcoming performances include shows at dozens of arenas across the US and Canada supporting the Panic! At The Disco Pray For The Wicked tour. 

The UK gig-goers were recently treated to a series of dates – subsequently raved about by critics - powered by an Allen & Heath dLive mixing system.

Allen & Heath digital systems were used at numerous venues hosting the SXSW Music Festival, one of the world's largest music conferences with 100+ music venues, held recently in Austin, Texas, USA. Most notably, GLD managed the entire sound reinforcement and sound streaming duties for the British Music Embassy held at Latitude 30, and the flagship iLive system managed live streaming at the Fader Fort.

At this year’s South By Southwest Music Festival held in Austin, TX, USA, Allen & Heath digital consoles were used to stream the experience live to millions of fans around the world. One of the world's largest music conferences with 100+ music venues, Allen & Heath mixers managed the Festival’s British Music Embassy, sponsored by the UK Trade and Investment Corporation, where over 40 UK bands played sets over a 5-day run, and BBC Radio streamed live to the UK for the first time, and the Dell Computer Fader Fort.

Allen & Heath’s dLive system has recently provided support for the popular, long-running Swedish TV game show, Så Ska det Låta, based on the Irish precursor ‘The Lyrics Board’. A DM64 MixRack and S7000 Surface forms the backbone of the system, with the demanding monitoring requirements of the presenters, contestants and musicians all handled by dLive’s configurable 64 bus architecture and flexible routing options.

Supplied by Britannia Row Productions in Europe and Clair Bros in the USA, dLive was selected by monitor engineer, Tom Howat. The system comprises a S5000 Surface with DM64 MixRack, DX32 Expander Rack, and two IP8 controllers for remote access. Howat has used dLive on previous tours, including Paolo Nutini and Morrissey.
