Tomorrowland, held over two scorching weekends this July in the Belgium town of Boom, is one of the world’s foremost music festivals. Its organisers, We Are One World are always on the hunt for imaginative ways to unite hundreds of thousands of fans from around the globe at this unique event. This year, Tomorrowland revealed the brand-new Atmosphere Stage, a futuristic tent where L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound delivered deeply vibrant beats as festival goers bathed in stunning visuals for a completely unprecedented musical experience. 

The Zurich Openair Festival, which has existed since 2010, attracted more than 60,000 visitors this year to the festival grounds on the outskirts of Zurich.

UK lighting control manufacturer Zero 88 stages a product awareness live stream airing on Monday 24^th August which will be broadcast from The Congress Theatre, Cwmbran which is the nearest local theatre venue to the manufacturing facility. Usually busy with a lively programme of music and performance shows in the centre of Cwmbran, The Congress has been repurposed to function as a virtual studio during the pandemic and for the immediate future. Located just five minutes from Zero 88, it is a perfect and convenient venue. The Zero 88 team will be highlighting some of the brand’s newest technologies and product releases during the stream … and will be joined by local singer-songwriter Tobias Robertson offering some great live entertainment.

This summer’s Celine Dion LIVE 2017 tour, in support of her 2016 French-language album Encore un soir, took the Canadian songstress on a 25-date tour of Europe in her first major tour for eight years. Celine Dion LIVE 2017 sold out at every venue as it visited stadiums and arenas in Denmark, Sweden, England, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Germany, and received stellar reviews that confirmed Dion is an artist at the height of her career.

The brotherhood of bonding that is your typical heavy metal festival revolves largely around the nihilistic pursuit of music plugged directly into the emotional cortex of the listener. These days the mark of a successful metal festival is about managing the perception of volume; it must 'sound loud' but without all those nasty artefacts of volume, gross distortion for example, that can damage hearing. Popular and critically acclaimed maverick progressive rock band Yes continued their 2013-14 Three Album world tour presenting three complete iconic works - "Close To The Edge", "Going For The One" and "the Yes Album" – live and with a lighting design by Don Weeks … with the latest European section featuring Robe’s ROBIN Pointe multi-purpose moving lights.

Popular Israeli singer, songwriter and musician Yehuda Poliker played a high profile concert at the 2500 capacity Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv, a show that came alive with Robe BMFL Spots and a 90 per cent Robe lighting rig supplied by Argaman Systems.

This autumn one of Italy’s best-loved pop acts, Al Bano and Romina Power, released their first album in 20 years. The multitrack recording for The Very Best - Live aus Verona was made on Steinberg Nuendo Live, via monitor engineer Francesco Spadaccino’s Yamaha CL5 console and Rio3224-D i/o units. It was the first time that a major label album release has been recorded in this way.

The first major awards show in the US to be broadcast since the pandemic was held Sunday, August 30, when the socially distant MTV Video Music Awards were telecast from New York City. XR Studios selected the disguise xR workflow, powered by the latest disguise gx 2c media server, as the show’s central technology hub.

“The project was successful on a level of scale in terms of the size of the stage, the number of Stype-tracked cameras and the ambitious number of live performances and awards presentations,” says JT Rooney of Silent Partners Studio, who worked together with XR Studios to deliver the complex show in Extended Reality.
