Six Camera Corps Q-Ball robotic heads were used to provide live coverage of a record-breaking BBC Radio 1 broadcast by Chris Moyles and Dave Vitty. Televised via the red button on digital BBC 1 and on the Radio 1 website, the presentation commenced at 5 am on Wednesday 16th March, surpassing Simon Mayo's 37-hour record for longest Radio 1 show on Thursday evening and continuing to a total 51 hours 30 minutes by 8.30 am on Friday 18th March.

Michael Monroe, born as Matti Fagerholm in 1962 in Helsinki, is a Finnish rock musician and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame as the vocalist for the glam punk band Hanoi Rocks. Which is just as well, since the band Ozark Henry (which is also the stage name of founder Piet Goddaer) will be touring arenas up to 6,000 capacity in Germany and Benelux through the spring and early summer before playing a major part in Europe’s burgeoning festival scene — and finally continuing through 30-40 Benelux theatre dates in the Autumn.

grandMA2 got up close and personal with the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards when programmer Willy McLachlan tapped a grandMA2 system to control lighting designed by Jeffrey Engel. The awards show was simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center.

For establishing a thorough communications infrastructure at the 52nd Viña del Mar Song Festival, the organizer used a comprehensive system combining wired and wireless communications equipment from Riedel Communications.
