The Meduza TITAN: A Single Camera 3D Solution for TV Production

The Meduza TITAN, the first fully controllable, lightweight, 3D precision single HD camera with 1080p dual sensors, a solution for 3D television production, developed by the Irvine, CA based 3D technology company, Meduza Systems, has launched today.  The announcement was made by Chris Cary, CEO of 3D Visual Enterprises, the UK parent company of Meduza Systems. Cary will preview the TITAN at a special New Technology Press Luncheon presentation, hosted by Createasphere, the Entertainment Technology Exposition, Wed., Nov. 2, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Marriott Hotel in Burbank.

At this year’s Integrated Systems Show at Amsterdam, Natural View Systems from Buttenheim (Germany) will present a world first: the iVu display system for spatially enhanced stereoscopic reproduction of video images. The patents pending algorithm used by iVu computes a 3-D spatial image from every possible digital 2D-content. The system outputs the processed signal in real-time and is applicable to video content in any format and resolution. Watching spatial video produced by iVu requires just a standard HD autostereoscopic screen. The image can be enjoyed without glasses as the spectators are used to it by other systems.

Panasonic today announced the AK-UC3300, a 4K Studio Camera system equipped with a large S35mm MOS 4K sensor to deliver high quality video. Ideal for a variety of production applications, such as broadcast studio, live events and eSports, it is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2020. The AK-UC3300 has a large 11-megapixel 4K image sensor to achieve a resolution of 2,000 TV lines and supports HDR (HLG) and ITU-R BT.2020. With high sensitivity of F10 (2,000 lx), it enables high-quality video shooting, with low noise, while maintaining a S/N ratio of 62 dB or higher.
