One of the country’s most culturally important theatres, the Théâtre National Populaire (TNP) has been at the heart of contemporary French performing arts for over 90 years. Moving from Paris to Villeurbanne 40 years ago, a comprehensive refurbishment has seen a Yamaha digital audio system installed in the theatre’s two performance spaces.

Coinciding with the arrival of the new CL series of digital mixing consoles at ProLight+Sound 2012, Yamaha has launched the latest versions of its StageMix iPad app and File Converter software, both featuring full compatibility with the new CL range.

Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. has announced the launch of the new 01V96i Digital Mixer, making its first official debut at this week's InterBee Show. The new 01V96i offers a 16–track USB 2.0 interface for multi–track recording via MAC or PC. The new unit is identical in mixing functionality as its predecessor but cosmetically takes on a new black look for easy differentiation from the previous 01V Series dark blue. Since its initial release in 1998, the 01V has been used in a wide variety of applications, both personal and professional, ranging from recording and production environments to live sound and installation applications.

Following the launch of the EMX2 earlier in 2016, the EMX5 and EMX7 add greater power and more features to the new lightweight and intuitive design, which has brought a new level of portability and ease of use to the popular EMX range.
 

ProLight+Sound 2014 sees Yamaha launch a brand new range of digital mixing consoles, delivering all of the audio quality, processing power and flexibility of the acclaimed CL Series, but in a size and with local i/o facilities aimed at smaller scale productions.

By popular request, Yamaha console users can now access Stage Tec's NEXUS system over IP in conjunction with the Dante interface. Yamaha consoles can control NEXUS microphone inputs and can use the NEXUS converters. With the TrueMatch® microphone converter, NEXUS offers excellent AD/DA converter technology at an internal resolution of 32-bits and a dynamic range of 158 dB (A), eliminating the need for microphone preamplifiers.
