NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, has selected Ross Video to provide an Augmented Reality graphics solution for its production of the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, which take place in Tokyo, Japan, from July 23rd – August 8th. The announcement was made today by Michael Sheehan, Coordinating Director, NBC Olympics, and Pete Ross, Director of Sales USA – Eastern, Ross Video.

NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, has selected Amagi to provide UHD playout with cloud automation for its production of the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, which take place in Tokyo, Japan, from July 23 – August 8, specifically on Olympic Channel. The announcement was made today by Anil Abraham, Director, Systems Architecture, NBC Olympics, and Srinivasan KA, co-founder, Amagi.
 

TVN MOBILE PRODUCTION has travelled to St. Petersburg, Russia, with around 65 people and mobile technology. On behalf of UEFA, the TV service provider from Hanover, Germany will produce the TV pictures of a total of seven matches of the European Football Championship UEFA EURO 2020/21. The first live broadcast for TVN will take place on June 12.

However, each advancement brings new challenges, as early HDR adopter Studio Berlin has discovered. The technology company has long explored HDR to elevate production quality on a range of projects, including live sporting events like Bundesliga matches, and entertainment programs such as “Joko and Klaas against Pro7” and “Late Night” with Klaas Heufer-Umlauf.
