PHABRIX support HDR trials ahead of BT Sport Ultimate Launch

ITV Studios selects the latest Sony HDC-3500 4K/HD HDR Live Production system cameras to shoot ‘Coronation Street’
ITV Studios, a television production company owned by the British television broadcaster ITV PLC, has invested in 21 Sony HDC-3500 system camera chains supplied by broadcast and film industry equipment provider, Top-Teks. The 2/3-inch 4K CMOS sensor portable system cameras will be used to shoot ‘Coronation Street’, ITV’s flagship soap that has graced screens for almost 60 years. The cameras were selected as part of ITV Studios’ latest camera refresh aimed towards future-proofing production by offering greater flexibility and picture quality.

Sony and TVN set live production milestone with new 4K HDR OB truck
TVN MOBILE PRODUCTION, one of Europe's leading providers of mobile television services, has partnered with Sony Professional Solutions Europe to expand its Outside Broadcast (OB) fleet and meet new live production demands. In collaboration with partners and third-parties, Sony has designed and integrated Europe’s largest 4K HDR OB truck for TVN. The technically advanced vehicle will be used for high-quality UHD, HD and mixed productions. It features a workflow developed jointly by Sony and TVN and is optimised for all production formats and standards (both SDR and HDR).
Ross Expands Server Product Line with New 4K UHD Production Server
Tria+ UHD provides two symmetrical 4K UHD video channels that can be instantly configured as 2-play, 2-record or 1-play and 1-record. Furthermore, the two independent video channels can be configured as a single video+key channel. Tria+ UHD supports HDR by natively recording 10-bit XAVC-Intra Class 300/480 and offers a maximum of 120 hours of Class 300 4K UHD media storage capacity. Tria+ UHD may be the newest member of the Tria+ production server family, but it maintains the same operational look and feel as other Tria+ products so will be extremely familiar to existing customers. Built-in media file import and export tools are a standard feature, along with 16-track embedded digital audio on every video I/O.
